RISE FISHING CO.

Our mission is to create the best fly rods possible at a price that doesn’t discriminate.  No one is harder on gear than guides, so we’ve worked with world class fly fishing guides to help sculpt our rods and put them to the true test of fishing them hard! Thousands of days on the water have led to the design of our first two series of rods and this philosophy will never change, as we develop new series in the Rise line up. We have a passion for fly fishing we’d like to share, and we think everyone should have affordable access to the sport.

The founders of Rise Fishing Co are a combination of hard working fishing guides and experienced fly casting instructors who had a vision to create fly rods that are “user friendly” for the majority of fly fishermen allowing both skilled and novice anglers to pick up any of our rods and feel comfortable casting them. Having the background of working with many different types of fly fishermen gives Rise Fishing Co. the advantage in understanding what most people need in a fly rod. We all know that there is no one perfect rod for all fishing conditions, but we feel that our first series of rods is versatile enough to excel in almost any fishing environment.

Although making high quality fly rods is our main objective it seems that every guide we spoke to voiced their opinion on two other topics; conservation and preserving the future of our sport. Led by Amanda Switzer, Rise Fishing Co. pledged to set a new standard in the industry by donating 20% of all profits to conservation and new angler outreach. Our hope is that other companies follow in our foot-steps to make sure that the fisheries that fuel our passion are there for future generations to enjoy. Learn more about how we donate 20% of all profits to these efforts on the Donate page.
